Theoretically this is an awesome radio for the size and price. So after about 6 months of use the radio crackled and it began smoking - immediately stopped transmitting and I can see the component where it has shorted - ops TX it glows - Over a year of infrequently trying to get in touch with Btech they have never responded.Īll I want to know is what the component is so I can replace it and try to effect a repair. Comprehensive lack of any form of supportīrought from Btech via their Amazon website posted to sister in law in USA who brought it out to me in Africa.
